SCCM Engineer (Endpoint Management)

📝 Job Overview:

We are looking for an experienced SCCM Engineer to manage, deploy, and support our enterprise desktop and server infrastructure. You’ll be responsible for application packaging, OS deployments, patch management, and automation using Microsoft Endpoint Configuration Manager (MECM/SCCM) and Intune (if hybrid).


🔧 Responsibilities:

  • Administer and maintain SCCM infrastructure (site servers, DPs, MPs).
  • Build and deploy Windows images using task sequences and WIM management.
  • Package and deploy applications, scripts, and compliance baselines.
  • Manage monthly patching, update rings, and vulnerability remediation.
  • Monitor SCCM client health and compliance across all devices.
  • Integrate SCCM with Microsoft Intune (if co-managed).
  • Automate software deployment and reporting using PowerShell and WQL queries.
  • Work with security and compliance teams to ensure update compliance.

✅ Required Skills:

  • 3–5+ years of hands-on experience with SCCM/MECM
  • Proficient in OSDApp PackagingADR, and software updates
  • Strong PowerShell scripting skills
  • Experience with device collections, boundary groups, and deployment monitoring
  • Familiarity with Intune, WSUS, and Windows Update for Business

💡 Preferred Qualifications:

  • Microsoft Certified: Endpoint Administrator Associate (MD-102)
  • Experience with co-management (SCCM + Intune)
  • Familiarity with third-party patching tools (Ivanti, PatchMyPC)
  • Experience managing enterprise desktops in hybrid AD/Azure AD environments
